Sleep and Weight loss

If you are concerned about your weight and want to lose some of your weight you may be concerning about what you eat and your exercise but have you ever been thinking about your sleep and its effect on your weight and fat burning.
A recent study done in University of Chicago about the connection between sleep and weight loss revealed that persons who sleep lessthan normal have tendency not to burn or lose their fat easily. In this study researches study the realation between sleep and weight loss they divided the volunteers into tow groups one of them were left to sleep only for 5.5 hours while the other group slept for 8.5 hours and after forteen days of giving the same caloric intake to all voulnteers and researchers found that the groupthat slept more have lost their weights and burnt their fat by the same amount however the group that slept only 5.5 hour lost less fat and more muscle.

Other sleep and weight loss experts say the study's findings are very significant, since few studies have looked at the relationship between sleep deprivation and metabolism. A study like this one, experts say, adds to the growing body of knowledge on the negative impact of not getting enough sleep. They also say the small size of the study is typical of research that carefully monitors sleep and metabolic processes.
